First Response Emergency Care 3 (FREC 3) qualification has many uses:
- Security contractors working abroad
- Private ambulance services in the UK
- Fire & Rescue service
- Police medics
- High risk workplaces (heavy industry)
- Event staff
- Bodyguards and Door staff
- Mountain rescue & Wilderness guides
- Remote workers
- NHS Community responders
- International charity and Aid workers
Nationally recognised and fully endorsed by the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. All Learners must be at least 17 years old and possess reasonable numeracy and literacy skills.
The qualification comprises of 3 units:
First Response Emergency Care
First Response Emergency Care of Trauma
First Response Emergency Care of Medical Conditions
On successful completion of the course the student will be issued the First Response Emergency Care certificate valid for 3 years.
