Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Adult Basic Life Support and Management of Anaphylaxis (RQF)

This accredited one-day course is designed for healthcare professionals and clinical staff who may be required to respond to life-threatening emergencies. It provides the essential knowledge and hands-on skills to deliver effective Basic Life Support (BLS) and safely manage anaphylaxis in line with current UK Resuscitation Council guidance.
What you will learn:

Incident & casualty assessment – DRABC checks, safe scene survey, and calling for help

Adult CPR & AED use – recognising cardiac arrest, delivering high-quality CPR, and using an Automated External Defibrillator

Unconscious casualty management – placing casualties in the recovery position and monitoring breathing

Anaphylaxis management – recognising severe allergic reactions, correct positioning, calling for help, and safe use of adrenaline auto-injectors (AAIs)

Choking management – identifying choking and applying effective first aid interventions
